I first heard Benoit and his Orchestra at a club in Shepherd's Buch over 7 years ago. Since then I've booked them to play at four events for our magazine readers and clients through my business, Matchbox Publishing, because they always deliver. They get the crowd dancing every time, and always guarantee a flood of compliments from the guests. So we booked Benoit and his Orchestra to play our wedding last weekend. AMAZING. First they played a great acoustic set for our guests over dinner, followed by a truly upbeat set on the dance floor afterwards. Wow. I have never seen more guests dancing at a wedding. And I've never personally danced so much in my life. As Benoit said, "If you don't dance at your own wedding, you will never dance". Two highlights amongst many were 1.) our first dance, Cheek to Cheek by Irvin Berlin, which Benoit agreed to learn for our wedding. It was such a special moment, and made it all the more so doing it to a brilliant live band, with ALL our friends and family joining in for the second half of the song. And 2.) the surprise Russian Wedding Dance which Benoit sprung on me and my bride. The song gets faster and faster. This was the most fun we've ever had on a dance floor. The atmosphere was fantastic all night, and we were left with amazing memories. Our guests said it was the best wedding music they'd experienced, evident by the amount of dancing that was going on. Thank you so much Benoit. Benoit also recommended the DJ to play afterwards, who was the perfect follow up, with a brilliant balance of swing and essential wedding classics that got everyone up and moving. So much fun.
