Benoit Viellefon is proud to work with the Bee’s Knees, London’s finest flappers!
Having worked together on such productions as "Bugsy Malone" & "Casablanca" produced by Future Cinema (67 shows sold out in a 2000 seat venue), Benoit & The Bee’s Knees decided to team up to develop a repertoire.
The Bee’s Knees kick the 1920s into the thoroughly modern day with high-energy Charleston dance full of humour, style and finesse. This established flapper troupe have been performing at vintage parties, theatres, cabaret, community events, festivals and private events across Europe and the UK since 2004.
Dancing mostly as a duo or trio of girls, they have recently expanded their team of dancers to give much more flexibility by incorporating male/female couple dancing and even a chorus line of up to 12 flappers! They are equally at home performing their slick choreographed routines as they are improvising solo/partner Charleston to the sounds of Benoit Viellefon & His Orchestra while interacting and dancing with the audience in character.
